Job summary

Job description

KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) is an 830-bed tertiary-level care hospital that provides obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology and paediatric healthcare services. It is part of the SingHealth public healthcare cluster and is an academic medical centre. KKH is a major teaching hospital for Duke-NUS Medical School, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medical at KKH strives to achieve the highest standards in providing clinical services to a wide range of patients.

You will be part of the Clinical Chemistry team, providing scientific and technical input to the operation, management and development of the Clinical Chemistry laboratory in the department.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, Biological Science, Medical Technology or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in a clinical biochemistry laboratory.

  • Experience with laboratory accreditation requirement & handling of quality assurance programmes.

  • Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, public holidays and for on-call standbys.

  • You must be scientifically vigorous, eager to learn and willing to work in a fast-paced, clinical environment.
