You will conduct product testing, design validation, FMEA and root cause investigations to improve quality, reliability and shelf life, and work with process, packaging and other departments on timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of product design and thermoplastics experience in medical devices or related manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD design tools, preferably SolidWorks, with knowledge of statistics and product testing.
• Strong analytical and collaboration skills to work across departments and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage sustaining engineering activities, design changes and design verification to ensure compliance with customer specifications and medical device regulatory standards.
• Conduct product testing, design validation, FMEA, and root cause investigations to resolve design issues and improve quality, reliability and shelf life.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering projects with process, packaging and other departments, monitoring timelines and costs.
• Provide technical support for existing products, addressing regulatory compliance issues and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support cost reduction and new product development by evaluating materials, technologies and design improvements.
