A leading company in consumer goods is looking for a Media Strategist to integrate the Colgate brand into popular culture. This role involves developing media strategies, managing partnerships, and providing analytical insights to enhance brand equity across the APAC region. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of diverse media channels and proven experience in strategic media planning.
JOB SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for deeply integrating the Colgate brand into popular culture, leveraging strategic partnerships and sponsorships to significantly boost brand equity and building media strategies for our brands. The ideal candidate possesses an intimate understanding of the APAC media landscape, encompassing digital, TV, and social channels, gained through close collaboration with key media organizations.
Main Responsibilities
Integrated Media Strategy Development: Lead the regional level development, strategy and planning of integrated media strategies for key campaigns in order to achieve defined marketing and business objectives.
Partnership & Sponsorship Exploration: Strategize and implement new media initiatives, including partnerships and sponsorships, to improve our media strategy and execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with brand, creative, digital, and regional marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of media strategies with overall marketing initiatives.
Media Best Practices & Governance: Establish, implement, and maintain media best practices, guidelines, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across all media activities.
Market Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of evolving media landscapes, emerging technologies, and industry trends to inform strategic recommendations and foster innovation.
About You
Throughout your career you would have demonstrated your ability to build and lead social media brand, content / community, and paid media strategies (including KOL and Influencer management) to drive business growth and build brands
You have deep understanding of, and outspoken opinions on, the latest trends, technology, and learning cases from around the world that we should apply to our brands in APAC
You are a passionate team player who enjoys collaborating in cross-functional teams of specialists to raise the bar on communications and do the right thing for our brands
You are fluent in the language of media metrics, prioritized KPIs, and full-funnel communications planning.
You have experience across all media channels and touchpoints, TV, digital, social and others.
You are an outstanding communicator who can rally a broad team around your vision, and who inspires and motivates people to push beyond their comfort zones
Desirable Experience
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful media strategies that drive measurable business results.
Demonstrable experience in establishing media best practices, governance, and measurement frameworks.
Strong experience in identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and managing media partnerships and sponsorships.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
You will have a proven track record of managing substantial budgets and developing comprehensive media plans across the region or within large APAC markets.
