What The Role Is
As a Media Content Creator in the New Media Unit under the Academy of Singapore Teachers (AST), you will oversee the planning and delivery of social media communications and engagement strategy to support the building of teacher identity, and enhancement of Professional Learning (PL) and well-being of the teaching fraternity. You will also play a key role in spearheading the efforts and collaborations in content creation and curation.
What You Will Be Working On
- Comms and Engagement Strategy: Work with various stakeholders to define audience profiles and determine appropriate framing and platform(s) to deliver the intended messages effectively
- Content Creation and Curation: Conceptualise and recommend appropriate content for different platforms and purposes (e.g., styles/ format and design for campaigns/ visuals/ social media) through conducting research and consultations with stakeholders
- Analysis: Analyse data and trends to develop insights on how content is consumed by target audience, and assess effectiveness of message delivery to support comms review and improvement efforts.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in designing, developing and curating content for social media
- Familiarity with collecting data on how message framing and delivery impact behaviour, attitudes and perceptions
- Passion in using social media platform for communications and engagements
- Proactiveness in monitoring social media developments and viral trends Experience and ability in identifying opportunities and adapting relevant content strategies to suit unique contexts
