Are you an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with expertise in rotating equipment maintenance? We’re working with a client in the chemical manufacturing industry who is looking for someone like you to join their team and ensure their plants operate smoothly with cutting-edge technology.

What Our Client Offers:

Your Role:

• Lead and supervise a team of mechanical supervisors and contractors, ensuring the safe and timely execution of plant maintenance, modifications, and construction activities.
• Coordinate with plant operators and maintenance teams to ensure the integrity of plant operations while minimizing disruptions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in both static and rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, blowers) and implement countermeasures.
• Oversee upgrades and modifications to plant facilities in line with technical specifications and business needs.
• Train and develop staff and contractors to enhance their competencies.
• Respond to emergencies and resolve mechanical issues within tight timelines.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SS651.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the oil, petrochemical, or chemical manufacturing industry
• Hands-on expertise in static and rotating equipment maintenance (e.g., pumps, compressors, heat exchangers)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (SAP knowledge is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
