Job description

    As a Purchase of Mechanical Parts professional, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient procurement of wire harness, casting of metals, and mechanical commodities. You will be involved in supplier identification and qualification, negotiating contracts, cost analysis, supply chain optimization, quality assurance, and compliance. Your duties will include conducting thorough assessments of supplier capabilities to meet quality and reliability standards. You will also be responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts and purchase orders in alignment with company policies. Monitoring contract performance and addressing any issues in a timely manner will be crucial.Additionally, you will need to analyze costs to identify saving opportunities, implement cost-effective strategies, and maximize value while maintaining quality standards. Developing and implementing supply chain optimization strategies to minimize lead times and mitigate risks will be essential.Monitoring supplier performance, conducting quality audits, and implementing corrective actions as needed to drive continuous improvement will be part of your role. You should have knowledge of ERP systems, sourcing and procurement experience in the electronics sector, and hands-on experience in zero-based costing of mechanical and wire harness parts.Your analytical abilities will be put to the test as you conduct cost analysis and make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with quality assurance principles, supply chain management best practices, and proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word are required. Knowledge of manufacturing processes of metal casting, wire harness, powder coating, and fabrications will be advantageous.This is a full-time position with benefits such as health insurance, yearly bonus, and day shift schedule. You should be prepared to share your current CTC, expected CTC, notice period, and confirm your comfort with the work location in Okhla phase 1. In-person work location is required for this role.,
