Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Mechanical Site Manager to oversee and coordinate mechanical works for ad-hoc jobs, maintenance activities, and new projects on Jurong Island. The role involves planning, supervising, and ensuring all mechanical works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards. This position requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and manage mechanical works for ad-hoc tasks, turnarounds (TAR), commissioning, and new projects.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and ISO diagrams for feasibility and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, construction, and quality assurance.
  • Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and recommend solutions for delays or issues.
  • Manage site resources efficiently, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain comprehensive project records, reports, and documentation.
  • Support budgeting, cost estimation, and resource allocation activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Higher Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in ISO drawings, commissioning, TAR, and ad-hoc project execution.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in mechanical site management within oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (ASME, ISO, ASTM).
  • Familiarity with Jurong Island projects or similar industrial environments.

Working Conditions

  • Based on-site at Jurong Island with office work as required.
  • May involve occasional travel to other client locations.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to tight schedules.
