Job summary

A leading offshore solutions provider in Singapore seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for erecting and commissioning compressors, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and must be willing to travel significantly, including offshore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including offshore.

• Erect and commission reciprocating compressors and their drivers.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Will take charge of erecting and commissioning reciprocating compressors and their drivers, ensuring smooth and safe operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and service on mechanical equipment. (reciprocating, screw, vane compressor and generators)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in a timely manner.
• Repair or replace damaged equipment components as needed.
• Conduct performance tests to ensure operational efficiency during FAT and SAT.
• Document maintenance activities and provide detailed reports.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to support system improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.
• You will ensure compliance with PTW, TBT, LOTO, process isolation, and HIRA awareness.

Job Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical diploma or related field experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• This role requires extensive travel. Applicants must be willing and able to travel significantly (not less than 70%) without geographical restriction including offshore.
