Job Description: Mechanical & Project Engineer
Hiring Organization: Nanosun Pte. Ltd.
Project Overview: Multi-Million EPC - Semiconductor Fab/Specialty Chemicals Wastewater Reclamation
Reporting To: Project Manager
Role Summary: We are seeking a highly driven Mechanical Engineer to serve as the core technical architect and submission lead for a fast-tracked wastewater EPC project. Backed by an integrated, heavyweight team (20-year Process PM, EICA DD, Valve Specialists, AOP experts, and a dedicated Procurement Lead) and supported by a Piping Manager for physical routing, you are empowered to focus purely on engineering integrated modular skids (UF, RO,AOP), orchestrating general plant layout, and actively driving client design submissions to prevent critical-path bottlenecks.
Design & Submissions: Actively drive the preparation, submission, and technical defense of P&IDs and mechanical packages. Engage proactively with the client/owner's engineer to clear comments rapidly and force-close approvals to protect the execution schedule.
Modular Skid Engineering: Take deep, hands‑on ownership of complex water treatment skids (UF, RO, AOP).Design self‑contained modular units, meticulously specifying pumps, automated valves, and dosing equipment with strict adherence to optimal flow dynamics and N+1 redundancy.
Serve as the vital bridge to the automation team, ensuring all skid sensors and actuators seamlessly handshake with EICA architecture.
Execution & Commissioning: Transition to the site to supervise mechanical subcontractors and ensure EHS compliance. Lead system walk‑downs, manage punch‑lists, compile Turnover Packages (TOP) with full material traceability, and drive FAR, OSAT, and Dry/Wet Commissioning.
