Job description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate and manage daily maintenance activities with in-house & external contractors and execute maintenance timely and effectively.
  • Service used equipment and components and ensure they are ready to use at all times, ensuring no downtime due to unavailability of spare parts.
  • Analyze and improve equipment reliability of utilities & facilities to prevent recurrence with the production group and contractors, prepare RCA and follow up actions with Sr Engineers.
  • Prepare and review spare parts list and equipment data inventory control, ensuring critical spare availability, optimizing spare parts, and managing stock effectively using CMMS.
  • Develop and implement routine maintenance and inspection schedule for plant equipment, executing Preventive maintenance, Routine inspection, and periodical inspection on Rotating and static equipment by coordinating with contractors on site.
  • Manage annual shutdown maintenance related to facilities and manage actual site work, liaising with contractors and the production group to ensure safe completion of works.
  • Update long-term maintenance plan for facilities and utility equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with EHSQ policies by reviewing & implementing MSRA.
  • Support in implementation and participate in continuous improvement efforts in the areas of Safety, Quality, Environment, and Health Management System (for example SS506 part 3, ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, IATF 16949).
  • Have a legal obligation to act in a responsible manner for the safety of themselves and other persons who may be affected by their actions or omissions at work.
  • Assist the Management in ensuring that Major Accident Hazards are reduced to As Low as Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) and escalate when necessary.
  • Work as a team and support inter and intra-departmental work while demonstrating company Core Values.
  • Available to support 24 hours plant operation needs (standby duty or if required).
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Plant & facilities maintenance in chemical plant or petrochemical industry with supervisory hands-on experience.
  • Understanding of Maintenance technology manufacturing process plant environment is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle contractors independently and effectively and complete tasks.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, independent, and possess a good supervisory background.
