Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop mechanical and hydraulic systems in line with industry standards for heavy equipment projects. You will design, size, select and integrate components, and deliver detailed drawings and BOMs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or related field, experience with 3D CAD, and familiarity with steel fabrication. On-site testing and collaboration with Sales, After-Sales and Production are key parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience in designing machinery and hydraulic systems in heavy industry.
• Proficient with 3D CAD tools and engineering calculations.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication and machining is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design mechanical and hydraulic systems per industry standards and project specs.
• Size, select, and integrate structural steel components with mechanical and hydraulic parts.
• Prepare drawings, BOMs, and manuals for operations and maintenance.
• Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning at factory and on-site.
• Provide technical guidance to Sales, After-Sales, and Production; deliver user training.
