A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design robust building systems, coordinate projects, and oversee installations. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and possess at least 3 years of relevant experience. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment tackling innovative mechanical solutions within project teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design & Planning
Create detailed and practical designs for mechanical building systems, ensuring that HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire safety solutions are robust and efficient.
Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and system specifications that are both innovative and compliant.
Work closely with architects, civil engineers, and project teams to seamlessly integrate mechanical systems into holistic building designs.
Project Coordination
Act as the key liaison with stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to ensure mechanical works align with overall project milestones.
Proactively address and resolve design challenges, ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet the highest standards.
Site Supervision & Installation
Lead the on-site supervision of mechanical system installations, ensuring meticulous adherence to design specifications and safety guidelines.
Conduct rigorous quality checks and inspections to ensure exceptional workmanship and operational reliability.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Diploma holders in the relevant field may apply).
At least 3 years of technical knowledge and experience in Mechanical building services (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection systems).
Experience in an engineering consultancy firm is a pre-requisite.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and interact confidently with colleagues and clients.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities with ease.
