Job description

Responsibilities:

• Translate customer needs into comprehensive mechanical design requirements and specifications.
• Develop and validate design concepts using force analysis, thermal and vibration simulations, and lifetime modeling.
• Analyze and select the most effective design solutions by weighing performance, cost, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Choose appropriate materials to ensure mechanical strength and compatibility with semiconductor manufacturing conditions.
• Engineer precision tooling and fixtures to support cutting-edge semiconductor packaging technologies.
• Generate detailed 3D models and perform structural simulations to confirm design robustness.
• Work in close collaboration with manufacturing and process engineering teams to integrate designs that align with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) standards.
• Support ongoing efforts to improve design quality, enhance performance, and streamline development processes.
• Ensure all mechanical designs meet applicable safety, quality, and environmental regulations in accordance with Singaporean standards.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or in related field
• Experience in mechanical design especially in semiconductor industry
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Solidworks, Solid Edge and Pro-E
