Job summary

AEM Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver precision mechanical systems for advanced semiconductor and automation equipment.

You will drive the full engineering lifecycle from concept to deployment in real-world manufacturing environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead system integration and validation, and own projects from concept through release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor equipment, automation, or precision engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical design, including tolerance stack-up and FEA.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD tools (mandatory).
• Exposure to vision systems, thermal modelling, or measurement techniques is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Translate system requirements into robust mechanical designs and sub-system specifications.
• Perform component selection, tolerance analysis, and motion system design to achieve high performance and reliability.
• Develop and validate design concepts aligned with engineering and manufacturing requirements.
• Lead system integration, testing, and validation across development, manufacturing, and customer-site phases.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
