Job summary

The Mechanical Engineer role at TALENT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is based in Woodlands, Singapore, with a 9:00am–6:00pm schedule from Monday to Friday.

You will design, develop, and improve mechanical components and systems for semiconductor/industrial equipment. Responsibilities include supporting product development, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. You should hold a mechanical engineering degree and have at least 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
Experience in semiconductor or industrial equipment environment is preferred.
Proficient in CAD software and mechanical drawings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in equipment troubleshooting and repair is an advantage.
Knowledge of semiconductor equipment or die bonder processes will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with CAD, CAM, MATLAB, or LabVIEW is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and improve mechanical components, systems, and equipment.
Support product development activities, including design, testing, manufacturing, and installation.
Perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
Analyse equipment performance and recommend improvements.
Prepare technical drawings, documentation, and reports.
Liaise with project teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure successful project completion.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and engineering standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
