What the role is:

Mechanical Engineer

What you will be working on:

You will be involved in research & development studies to develop and implement new sustainable and smart initiatives e.g. Pneumatic Waste Collection System, alternative waste management systems such as Waste to Energy systems, Centralised Cooling Systems, Smart Lighting etc. projects for both existing and new developments. Candidates with experience in the design and implementation of Pneumatic Waste Collection System will be preferred. You should have an inquisitive mind, be resourceful and able to work independently to innovate and identify feasible urban solutions for research, testbed and implementation. You will be required to work with Multi-Disciplinary teams, Specialists Contractors, Town Councils to implement the initiatives at HDB towns and estates.

What we are looking for:

You should possess a background in Mechanical Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore) with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the industry and good project management skills. You should also have a positive attitude, the ability to handle challenges and good interpersonal and communication skills. You must be able to work independently with a sound knowledge of the relevant codes, design and construction. Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract as a start.
