Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer in Singapore to perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and troubleshoot faults to minimize production downtime. You will read technical drawings and assist with installation, testing and qualification while coordinating with production and engineering teams.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering or related discipline and at least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of hands-on equipment maintenance in manufacturing.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults, identify root causes, and repair to minimise downtime.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks for reliability.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and manuals to support maintenance.
• Support installation, setup, testing, and qualification as required.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, faults, repairs, and servicing schedules.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve equipment issues and support ramp-up.
• Adhere to safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.
