Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Singapore. You will perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot faults, and support installations to ensure smooth production and high reliability.

You will read technical drawings and schematics, maintain records of servicing, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive improvements while following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals.
• Diploma or technical qualification in engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults, identify root causes, and repair to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks for reliability.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and manuals.
• Support equipment installation, setup, testing and qualification as needed.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements.

Job Scope

• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals to support maintenance and repair activities.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment faults, repairs, and servicing schedules.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or any other related technical discipline.

• At least 2 years of hands-on equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and repair.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
