Job summary

Long Hin (S) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, coordinate, install and commission mechanical systems for construction and industrial projects in Singapore.

You will collaborate with project teams and site personnel to ensure compliance with specifications, standards and safety requirements. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years’ experience in building services or related projects, with preference for Singapore project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years in mechanical engineering for construction or building services.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, or fire protection is an advantage.
• Experience in Singapore construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for construction and industrial projects (HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection).
• Prepare and review mechanical drawings, specs, calculations and installation plans.
• Coordinate with civil and structural disciplines for proper integration of building services.
• Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards and project requirements.
• Oversee installation to meet drawings, specs, quality standards and schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery and execution.
