Job summary

Swift Search Global Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to assist in ACMV planning, coordination and execution for building projects. You will review specifications and drawings, prepare shop drawings and coordinate method statements and submissions.

You will also support ACMV system design, including airflow calculations, work with AHU/FCU sizing, and liaise with architectural, electrical and other M&E services, while ensuring safety and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• ACMV, HVAC, M&E or building-services experience advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
• Able to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or related engineering software advantageous.
• Willing to work in a project/site environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of ACMV works for building projects.
• Review project specifications, drawings and technical requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate shop drawings, method statements, checklists and technical submissions.
• Assist with ACMV system design and calculations, including airflow and static pressure requirements.
• Coordinate ACMV works with architectural, electrical, plumbing and other M&E services.
• Support equipment selection and sizing for systems such as AHU, FCU, ductwork and chilled-water piping.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on project requirements.
• Attend site inspections and resolve technical/site coordination issues.
• Assist in testing, balancing and commissioning of ACMV systems.
• Prepare as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Support project progress and ensure works are carried out according to specifications, schedule and safety requirements.
