Job summary

YONG HING ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a fresh or experienced Engineer to handle ACMV projects, focusing on mechanical ventilation and air conditioning, and to improve productivity, customer satisfaction, schedules, delivery and safety performance.

You will engage in ACMV system engineering, manage timelines and budgets, perform site visits, provide technical support, maintain documentation, and assist in tenders.

Qualifications

• Min. 2 years of related working experience in ACMV works.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including equipment selection, load calculations, and ductwork design.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems.
• Good project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Engaging in Mechanical Engineering of ACMV Systems
• Managing project timelines and budgets, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, and overseeing the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems
• Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure that work is being completed according to specifications and quality standards
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and project teams, and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle
• Maintaining accurate project documentation including drawings, specifications, and project reports
• Ensure project delivery according to dateline given, ensure cost control and profitability of project
• Assist in site administration
• Preliminary design and budgeting for Design and Build tenders
