Mechanical Engineer, reporting to the Engineering Manager, based in Tekirdağ – Çorlu. Location: Corlu, Turkey. Terms: Full Time – No relocation assistance. Scope: Local.

Job Purpose
Bring your engineering expertise to life by supporting maintenance and engineering activities in a fast‑paced FMCG factory. This role focuses on safety, compliance, and quality while driving continuous improvement and collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Repair and Maintenance teams and the Engineering team to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
- Provide leadership to maintenance engineers and technicians; monitor performance and conduct regular evaluations.
- Coordinate 3rd party repair and maintenance services; ensure safety, quality, and contractual compliance.
- Create and manage maintenance contracts; monitor performance and costs.
- Develop preventive maintenance programs; apply data‑driven optimization of schedules.
- Oversee CMMS for tracking work orders and maintenance activities; ensure accurate data and reporting.
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team; foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with project engineers and utilities team on ongoing and new projects; provide technical guidance.
- Ensure safety and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; conduct risk assessments.
- Identify training needs and organize programs to enhance team capabilities.
- Manage the R&M budget and seek cost‑saving opportunities; forecast maintenance needs.
- Oversee spare parts management, inventory levels, and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical support to production operators and maintenance personnel; respond to emergencies and on‑call duties.
- Develop and maintain safe operating procedures for maintenance team operations.
- Plan and manage machine overhauls; lead audits and risk assessments; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Drive cost‑saving improvements and maintenance projects; maintain accurate records for audits.
- Lead and implement management of change within the engineering team; plan shifts to ensure coverage.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of R&M management experience, ideally in a multinational environment.
- Proven maintenance management experience in FMCG/manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of CMMS and maintenance planning tools; proficiency with mechanical and electrical systems used in FMCG production (hydraulics, pneumatics, packaging machines, conveyors).
- Excellent English communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to build relationships across organizational levels.
- Advanced MS Office skills; familiarity with technical drawings and AutoCAD.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement; able to work in a fast‑paced, 24/7 production environment.
- Living in Corlu or willing to relocate there.

Additional Information
