Description:

The candidate is responsible for applying mechanical engineering principles to the remanufacturing of military vehicle components. This includes design analysis, troubleshooting, process improvement, and quality control.

Job Description:

• Analyze failed mechanical components to determine root causes of failure.
• Develop and implement repair procedures for mechanical systems and components.
• Design and create technical drawings and models using CAD software.
• Collaborate with technicians on disassembly, inspection, and reassembly processes.
• Conduct testing and validation of remanufactured parts to ensure performance and reliability.
• Contribute to the development of remanufacturing processes and procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with military standards and specifications (MIL-SPEC).
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Work with OEMs and 3rd party suppliers to gather necessary documentation for the repair and troubleshooting of the component for obsolescence management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in mechanical design, analysis, and manufacturing.
• Familiarity with military vehicle systems and components is a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with work counterparts across all levels (including customers, suppliers, management).
• Customer-oriented and diplomatic.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills and good presentation skills.
• Must be both an independent and strong team player.
• Able to work in a dynamic environment, and resilient to changes.
• Possess Class 3 driving licence preferred.
