Job summary

Eureka Robotics is a Singapore-based company delivering Robotics & AI products, software, and systems for high-accuracy automation. The role focuses on mechanical design of robotic systems, development with the Eureka Controller, and close collaboration with the Product Team to deliver integrated solutions.

Fresh graduates are welcome. Requirements include a Mechanical Engineering degree, proficiency in SolidWorks or OnShape, Python, and knowledge of algorithms and math.

Qualifications

  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or OnShape.
  • Proficiency in Python; familiarity with Git and shell scripting.
  • Background in algorithmics and mathematics (linear algebra, probability, statistics).

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for robotic systems.
  • Collaborate with Robotics Engineers (Software) to ensure integration of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Use CAD software (SolidWorks / OnShape) to create 3D models, drawings, and prototypes.
  • Conduct mechanical analysis, simulations, and testing for safety and durability.
  • Develop design specifications, assembly instructions, and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation of mechanical designs.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure feasibility and assist in fabrication of prototypes.
  • Troubleshoot design issues during development, testing, and production phases.
  • Maintain awareness of new technologies, trends, and best practices.

Key responsibilities
Mechanical Engineering
  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for robotic systems, including actuators, grippers, frames, and structures.
  • Work closely with Robotics Engineers (Software) to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Use CAD software (SolidWorks / OnShape) to create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes.
  • Conduct mechanical analysis, simulations, and testing to ensure design functionality, safety, and durability.
  • Develop and document design specifications, assembly instructions, and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation of mechanical designs.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure the feasibility of designs and assist in the fabrication and assembly of prototypes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues during the development, testing, and production phases.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, design trends, and industry best practices.
System Development
  • Develop full-fledged robotics system using the Eureka Controller in close collaboration with Eureka’s Product Team
  • Deliver advanced computer vision systems based on Eureka’s technologies
  • Communicate with end-customers at every step to ensure that the system meet customers’ expectations while keeping any additional work to a minimum
  • Create system documentation, deliver training to integrators and end-users
  • Install the system on site, including: delivery, calibration, performing User Acceptance Tests, etc.
  • Perform maintenance on the installed system
Requirements

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply if they meet the minimum requirements.

Minimum
  • BSc degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Solidworks or OnShape.
  • Proficiency in Python. Familiarity with git and shell scripting.
  • Background in algorithmics (complexity) and mathematics (linear algebra, probability, statistics).
Preferred
  • Familiarity with professional working processes (presentation, document writing, planning, time-management).
  • Strong proficiency in Solidworks or OnShape.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming for robotics or AI.
  • Solid background in algorithmics (proof of correctness, complexity in time and space) and mathematics (linear algebra, probability, statistics)
  • Knowledge of Robotics (kinematics, calibration, motion planning)
  • Knowledge of Computer Vision and AI (deep learning framework and tools)
