Company Overview

As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, including preparing 2D/3D drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and technical documentation with GD&T specifications.
• Support product quality activities, including Failure Analysis (FA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and inspection routines.
• Maintain accurate project records within SAP, MES, and Agile systems, ensuring traceability and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with sourcing, purchasing, and sales teams to coordinate project deliverables and timelines.
• Utilize AI tools, scripting (Python/VBA), and office automation to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Assist in programming, documentation, and data analysis tasks related to mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
• Manage multiple tasks to meet project deadlines, with occasional overtime as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and company goals.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Precision, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM/CAE software, with SolidWorks and AutoCAD essential.
• Experience working with sheet metal, plastic, rubber, and busbar materials.
• Familiarity with AMADA machinery/software is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and technical documentation standards.
• Skilled in SAP, MES, Agile methodologies, and office tools; experience in design automation is a plus.
• Basic programming skills in Python preferred; exposure to AI tools is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in product or rack design is advantageous.
