A leading company in technology seeks a Project Manager to oversee project sites, ensuring safety and budget compliance. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with experience in project management and site supervision. Responsibilities include planning, resource allocation, and ensuring adherence to quality, health, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Managing daily planning for project sites.
Check technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
Prepare T&Cs, OMM, cost estimates and ensure appropriate materials and tools are available.
Organize materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
Prepare work schedules and allocate resources, as well as supervise junior engineers, workers, and contractors.
Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (reports, tests, drawing and other).
Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
Ensuring all health and safety (QHS) and sustainability policies and legislations are adhered to.
Prepare site reports, project meeting minute and other paperwork.
Document processes and present project progress updates to the Project Manager.
Prepare the Operation Maintenance Manual including the documentation of equipment list, maintenance, catalogue, testing and commissioning and as-built drawing.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Candidates with Data Centre experience in particular chilled water system will have added advantage.
Project management and supervision skills.
Competent in Microsoft Office & Microsoft Project.
Team player with good interpersonal skills.
Good planning and coordinating skills.
Resourceful, supportive, problem-solving, committed.
