Job description

Kai MEP, a leading provider of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ACMV and plumbing systems and preparing shop drawings for the awarded projects.

The candidate will be required to:

• Conduct site survey.
• Able to draw shop drawings using AutoCAD and actively follow up on subsequent comments and changes.
• Preparation of design report, calculation and cost estimation.
• Attend project safety meeting and site co-ordination meeting.
• Follow up and reporting on the project progress.
• Able to carry out testing & commissioning and basic troubling shooting of the system.
• Preparation of OMM manual, As-Built drawings, training and DLP program.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical (Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) Engineering.
• At least 2 Years of local working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Well-versed in design ACMV / Piping and Piping Structural Support/ Ducting.
• Proficient in Auto cad 2D software.
• Ability to work independently and target oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• We prefer candidates who have experience in Engineering companies, Interior Design or Construction sector.
