Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking an Associate Project Director/Senior Project Manager specializing in ACMV and plumbing systems. The role involves conducting site surveys, preparing technical drawings, and managing project progress. Ideal candidates will hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification and possess local industrial experience, along with a proactive approach to project management.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of local working experience in ACMV.
• Familiar with Singapore statutory authority codes.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and prepare shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Attend project safety meetings and follow up on project progress.
• Prepare design reports and cost estimation.

Job description

We are looking for candidates who have experience in the ACMV and plumbing systems and has experience working in Design and Build, property or construction companies.

The candidate will be required to:

• Conduct site survey.

• Prepare shop drawings using AutoCAD and actively follow up on subsequent comments and changes.

• Preparation of design report, calculation and cost estimation.

• Attend project safety meeting and site co-ordination meeting.

• Follow up and reporting on the project progress.

• Able to carry out testing & commissioning and basic troubling shooting of the system.

• Preparation of OMM manual, As-Built drawings, training and DLP program.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical (Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) Engineering.

• At least 2 Years of local working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Well-versed in design ACMV / Piping and Piping Structural Support/ Ducting.

• Proficient in Auto cad 2D software.

• Needs to be familiar with Singapore statutory authority codes from Building Construction Authority (BCA), Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), National Environment Agency (NEA) and Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC).

• Ability to work independently and target oriented in a fast-paced environment.
