Job summary

TIAN TIAN MANPOWER (PTE.) LTD. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to lead maintenance activities on a large-scale manufacturing project.

You will oversee equipment reliability, safety compliance, and field installations, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and driving improvements in energy use, downtime reduction, and safety performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising mechanical site activities for large-scale manufacturing projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
• Strong leadership and results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical equipment breakdowns via engineering decisions.
• Identify issues to prevent unplanned downtime.
• Drive safety, cost, energy and reliability improvements in MSP.
• Manage external resources and vendor relationships.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement resolutions.
• Oversee engineering qualification tests and compliance.
• Participate in test runs and field installations.
• Analyze and interpret data and stay updated on trends.

Job Description & Requirements

• Deploys Engineering decision-making to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical equipment breakdowns
• Identify and address potential issues before they escape to prevent unplanned downtime.
• Achieving 0 LTIF target through ensuring safety procedures are followed through SOP, TRA, employees wearing full PPE during work, developing safety procedures
• To support the section in terms of external resources/vendor management
• To drive safety, cost, energy and reliability improvement projects in MSP through application of Mechanical integrity and quality assurance
• Recommend and implement modifications or upgrades to enhance machinery reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
• Perform root cause analysis and work towards resolutions
• Oversee all required engineering qualification tests on project; ensure compliance with all outside parties involved
• Participate in test runs and field installations
• Analysing and interpreting data
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mechanical maintenance.
• Provide training to maintenance technicians and operators on equipment usage and maintenance procedures
