Job summary

Qualifications

• Educational qualifications as listed (ITE / Diploma / Advanced/Higher Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related).
• Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering background encouraged.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, with familiarity with AI-assisted design tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to conduct site visits and travel when required.
• Experience in heavy lifting, heavy transportation, or equipment installation is an advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with engineering and operations teams to develop safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects.


• Conduct site surveys to assess conditions, identify potential challenges, and recommend suitable engineering solutions.


• Prepare and review Method Statements, lifting plans, technical drawings, engineering calculations, and technical proposals to meet project requirements.


• Conduct feasibility studies for heavy equipment transportation by land, sea, and inland waterways.


• Plan and coordinate heavy lifting, jacking, skidding, and equipment installation activities.


• Provide technical support during project execution and liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.


• Ensure engineering work complies with applicable safety requirements, industry standards, and project specifications.


• Carry out other engineering-related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• ITE,Diploma, Advanced/Higher Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.


• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with a Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering background are also encouraged.


• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications, with good IT knowledge and familiarity with AI-assisted design tools. Good command of written and spoken English.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

• 5.5-day workweek (alternate Saturdays).


• Based in Singapore, with site visits and occasional travel as required.
