Job description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role of Mechanical & Electrical Technician would need to perform the following.

General Function

• To carry out troubleshooting and maintenance works and to ensure that all machinery and equipment are in good working condition.
• To carry out production duties in accordance to the Production / Maintenance Supervisor’s instruction.
• To keep proper maintenance record and relevant permit to work.

Responsibilities

PLANT & EQUIPMENT

1. Maintenance of machine and equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition.
2. Repair and maintain the factory building and surrounding yard.
3. Provide backup maintenance support and prepare to be called back for emergency repairs.

PRODUCTION

1. Carry out production duties to meet production output when necessary.

SAFETY

1. Ensure that all equipment, tools and machinery are safe and well maintained.
2. Perform repairs to eliminate or minimize safety hazards.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

1. Assist in assessment of energy efficiency opportunity to reduce energy usage in plant.
2. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Your expertise - Our strength

Formal Education

• Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Technical

Computer

• Basic computer knowledge in using Excel, Word, and email.
• Electrical & Mechanical Background with preferably minimum 2 years experience.
• Able to speak simple English.
