Job summary

A building consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Consultant to design and prepare specifications for building systems. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in the consultancy industry and be knowledgeable in Building Regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the building services consultancy industry.

• Strong technical knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Formulate conceptual designs of the proposed Building's Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• Prepare tender specifications and technical reports for the Building M&E services.
• Attend meetings with stakeholders including developers and contractors.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Formulating conceptual designs of the proposed Building's Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems
2. Briefing and discussing with the assigned design team the proposed schemes for preparing a detailed design for tender and authority submission
3. Preparing tender specifications and technical reports for the Building M&E services
4. Attending meetings and discussions with the developer / Owner, Architects, and contractors

Requirements

1. Recognized Degree by the PE Board with a minimum of 05 years of working experience in the building services consultancy industry. Graduates without the required years of experience can be considered
2. Well-versed in Building Regulations and local Codes
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting will be an added advantage
4. Strong technical knowledge and skills
5. Good Interpersonal relationship skills
6. Able to multitask and work independently under tight deadlines
