Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager/Senior Engineer in overseeing all site activities and ensuring smooth project execution.
• Perform material quantity take-offs and prepare the bill of materials.
• Support the Commercial Department in the procurement of materials.
• Coordinate, implement, and manage all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on-site.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Review construction drawings to identify discrepancies, defects, or inconsistencies.
• Oversee and manage the progress of Electrical, ACMV, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary works, including the review and approval of drawings, materials, samples, and method statements to ensure timely and quality completion.
• Collaborate closely with the Structural and Architectural teams for seamless project integration.
• Liaise with client representatives on service diversions/removals, technical clarifications, certifications, documentation, and preparation of as-built drawings.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, HVAC, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in MEP design and construction site operations.
• Aspiration to progress towards becoming a Registered Professional Engineer.
• Familiarity with Singapore Codes of Practice and local authority submission procedures.
• Keen interest in developing a long-term career within the construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and other project-related software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
