Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks a qualified Mechanical Engineer to supervise M&E projects. You will liaise with clients and subcontractors, ensure compliance with contract specifications, and maintain accurate work records. Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least three years of relevant experience. This position is critical for meeting project deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in M&E Services.
• Experience with Mechanical, ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing/Sanitary Services, Fire Protection.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on M&E work progress.
• Supervise to ensure works align with contract specifications.
• Prepare correspondence reports and suggest corrective actions.
• Maintain daily work records, including additional work claims.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Liaise and work closely with the consultant, clients and subcontractors on the progress of M&E work to meet the project schedule.
• To supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications
• Prepare correspondence reports, suggesting corrective actions or value added recommendations according to best practice when applicable
• Responsible for keeping daily work record, including additional work claim to the clients and from the subcontracts.
• Other ad-hoc duties when assigned

Requirements

• Min Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering with ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing/Sanitary Services, Fire Protection background.
• Min 3 years working experienced and equipped with knowledge in M&E Services (Especially Machanical, ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing/Sanitary Services, Fire Protection) in the related field is required for this position.
• Knowledge of BIM or AutoCAD added Advantage
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
