Job description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role of Mechanical & Electrical & Instruments Technician involves the following responsibilities:

General Function

• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure machinery and equipment are in good working condition.
• Carry out production duties as instructed by the Production / Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain proper maintenance records and relevant permits to work.

Responsibilities

Plant & Equipment

1. Maintain machines and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
2. Repair and maintain the factory building and surrounding yard.
3. Provide backup maintenance support and be prepared for emergency repairs.

Production

1. Perform production duties to meet output targets when required.

Safety

1. Ensure all equipment, tools, and machinery are safe and well-maintained.
2. Perform repairs to eliminate or minimize safety hazards.

Energy Efficiency

1. Assist in assessing opportunities to reduce energy consumption in the plant.
2. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Your expertise - Our strength

Formal Education

• Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Technical & Computer Skills

• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Email).
• Electrical, Mechanical & Instrumentation background with at least 2 years of experience.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams.
• Ability to communicate in basic English.
