Job summary

A leading company is seeking a qualified professional with a minimum of 5 years in Mechanical/Electrical systems management to assist in various commissioning and verification tasks. The successful candidate will also provide crucial technical advice and maintain warranty records for installations during the contract duration from August 2025 to January 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working experience managing Mechanical/Electrical systems.
• Strong mechanical/electrical design knowledge and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in project takeovers is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with system commissioning, testing and training.
• Document defects and follow up for rectification.
• Supervise and advise on maintenance for onsite facilities.

Job description

Duration: 1 Aug 2025 – 31 Jan 2026 (6 months)

Location: Tengah

Working Hours: 8.30am – 6.00pm (Mon-Fri); 8.30am – 12.30pm (Sat)

Job Description

• Assist with system commissioning, testing and training
• Identify, document defects & follow up with main contractor for rectification
• Verification of as-built drawings with actual on-site installations
• Understand system maintenance regime, provide supervision and technical advice to onsite facilities team for future maintenance.
• Verification of O&M manuals
• Maintain warranty records for handed-over systems
• Any other relevant duties as directed by NUP

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years working experience in managing Mechanical/ Electrical systems for new/existing buildings
• Strong mechanical/ electrical design knowledge and local regulatory requirements.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work with consultants, contractors and various NUP stakeholders
• Experience in taking over of building projects and systems is an advantage.
