A construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced candidate for MEP coordination. The role involves liaising with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing documentation. Candidates should have a Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, with at least five years of relevant experience. Proficiency in BIM is an advantage.
Liaise with consultants, client and authorities on all mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) matters.
Work with BIM team to get the model ready for construction. Cross check BIM model with contract drawings.
Carry out drawing review and coordination among various disciplines within the purview of MEP incorporating into the civil / structural and architectural.
Review of shop drawing / materials / MOS submitted by subcontractors.
Assist MEP Engineer to manage the documentation and submittals.
Review of contract documents and have clear understanding of scope of works.
Review of subcontract documents and scope of works.
To conduct pre-inspection with subcontractors prior to calling for RE/RTO inspections.
Arrange and facilitate RE/RTO inspections.
To ensure site works are carried out according to daily / weekly site coordination schedule.
Monitoring of VOs and issue back charges in a timely manner.
To attend sub-con meetings and technical meetings for MEP related matters
Prepare the site for RI (M&E) and TOP inspections.
In charge for MEP materials selection / presentation, sample board submission, conducting trade demos and shop drawings submission. Follow up for reviews comments from consultants / client.
Take lead in as-built drawings and submission of O&M.
Handing over to Client.
Assessment of sub-cons claims / progress claims.
Ensure work activities are carried out in safe working environment.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management.
Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering/ Building Service. Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination and BIM/VDC will be an advantage.
Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience with Building Main Contractor.
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
An independent, also be able to work in team, can cope in a fast-paced environment, highly motivated and a good team player.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and use of BIM would be an advantage.
Candidates with more experience will be considered for more senior positions.
