Job summary

Good Job Creations (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a lead mechanical engineer to oversee design reviews from concept to detailed design. You will ensure compliance with local codes and provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires experience in mechanical design and construction/project management, with strong communication and leadership skills to manage budgets, stakeholders, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in mechanical design and construction/project management.
• Strong knowledge of local engineering codes and authority requirements.
• Proficiency in engineering analysis and providing technical solutions.
• Experience in project planning, budgeting, contract administration, and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in engineering analysis software, BIM software, CFD tools, and related applications.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and review of mechanical engineering works from concept development through detailed design stages.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant local codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Perform engineering analysis and provide technical guidance and solutions to project teams and stakeholders.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and overall project execution.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical teams.
• Prepare technical specifications, tender documents, and project-related documentation.
• Oversee design management and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and external consultants.
• Mentor, guide, and support engineers and designers in their professional development.
• Monitor project progress to ensure completion within schedules and budgets.
