Job description

Key Information:

  • Working Location: Tuas (walking distance from MRT)
  • 5 day – Mon to Fri (8am to 5pm)
  • US Manufacturing Plant
  • Basic salary (up to 5.5K) + AWS + Bonus + other benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Design for Manufacturability, Design for Testing, and Design for Assembly strategies for efficient production.
  • Assist in designing and customizing products to meet customer requirements.
  • Create technical documentation, including drawings, manuals, and work instructions.
  • Support the integration of third-party products and conduct product testing.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Purchasing teams to improve manufacturability.
  • Enhance engineering information systems and contribute to design automation.
  • Work with certification bodies and provide lab testing support.
  • Offer on-site technical support and participate in team-based projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing working environment.
  • Experience in mechanical design, preferably with low-voltage power distribution equipment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and ERP systems.
  • Strong in project management.
  • Excellent communication and time management.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
  • Familiar with electrical codes is a plus.
