You will collaborate with cross-functional engineers, own the lifecycle from component selection to manufacturing release, and lead external partners on co‑development projects. Strong CAD skills and problem-solving are essential.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience in semiconductor or automation products preferred (0–3+ years).
Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering and problem solving (FEA, stack tolerance).
Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tool required.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with system engineers to establish mechanical system and sub-system design specifications.
Own the mechanical engineering lifecycle: component selection, tolerance analysis, motion system design, component evaluation, and system integration, through to release for manufacturing and on-site installation.
Lead and oversee internal or external design partners on co-development projects.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure sub-systems meet design and reliability requirements.
Provide escalation support during equipment assembly, validation, and customer-site activities.
