Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems for semiconductor or automation products, from concept to deployment. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineers, own the lifecycle from component selection to manufacturing release, and lead external partners on co‑development projects. Strong CAD skills and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in semiconductor or automation products preferred (0–3+ years).
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering and problem solving (FEA, stack tolerance).
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tool required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with system engineers to establish mechanical system and sub-system design specifications.
• Own the mechanical engineering lifecycle: component selection, tolerance analysis, motion system design, component evaluation, and system integration, through to release for manufacturing and on-site installation.
• Lead and oversee internal or external design partners on co-development projects.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure sub-systems meet design and reliability requirements.
• Provide escalation support during equipment assembly, validation, and customer-site activities.
