❖ Mechanical Design Engineer (Drafter)

Job Description

  • Create Process and Layout drawings for LIPICO Oils & Fats processing plants, Biodiesel plant, SAF PTU plants and Oleochemical plants; transitioning from 2D to 3D.

  • Develop Foundation Drawings for process plant ISBL equipment (currently in 2D, moving to 3D)

  • Design and develop General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) of plant equipment

  • Working closing with Project Engineers to create the P&ID drawings using AutoCAD P&ID

  • Prepare specialized drawings for high-pressure steam routes, vapor ducting expansion joints, thermal oil routing and more (transitioning from 2D to 3D)

  • Prepare process equipment, tanks and vessel drawings

  • Familiar with regulations and industry codes and standards affecting standard design work

  • Basic knowledge of Piping material, pipe stress analysis, pipe support design principles and work processes

  • Responsible for the accurate, timely preparation and submission of drawings.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering;

  • Proficient in AutoCad 3D skills, familiar with P&ID for various system

  • Basic knowledge of tanks, pressure vessels, and shell & tube heat exchangers

  • Strong attention to details and ability to work collaboratively in a team

  • Able to produce detailed process vessel drawing and piping layout with minimal supervision;

  • Conversant with International Code and practices

  • Preferably with 3 or more years in vessel, process piping design experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical Industries
