Job description

• Position : Mechanical Design Engineer (Electro -Mechanical /Industrial Enclosure drawings/ CAD/ 3D)

• Location : Joo Seng Road (Nearest MRT: Tai Seng MRT - 13 minute walk)

• Working hours : 5 days a week - Monday to Friday | 8.30am - 5.30pm

• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to Basic $7000 + AWS

• Duration : Permanent

• Industry : Leading manufacturer of utility and electrical solutions

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and develop hazardous area and industrial enclosures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

• Create drawings for quotes, manufacture, and assembly using AutoDesk Inventor and Vault.

• Design and develop enclosure variations, oversee testing and certification, and conduct QA/QC inspections.

• Collaborate with global teams, interact with clients and suppliers, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Drive continuous optimization of product design to reduce production costs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, polymer injection molding, or related fields.

• Proficient in CAD systems (Autodesk Inventor and Vault preferred).

• Familiarity with industrial drawing standards, wiring processes, and electrical principles.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and commit to quality.

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
