Job summary

ACTIVIA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced CAD engineer to prepare sketches and detailed designs using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering required.
• At least 5 years' experience in the petrol-chemical industry preferred.
• Proficient with CAD/drafting software (AutoCAD and/or others).
• Strong cost planning, scheduling and reporting capabilities.
• MS Project knowledge is advantageous.
• Good interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, meticulous and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sketches and detailed work using AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
• Assist in defining project scope and equipment layouts.
• Support operations with technical guidance and process improvements.
• Ensure CAD drawings comply with quality standards and codes.
• Review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
• Develop work methodologies and manage project files.
• Identify and resolve design issues with the team.
• Attend project meetings with the project team and third parties.
• Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.
