Job summary

Pascal Industries Pte Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Singapore to deliver manufacturing designs for current and future projects. You will ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards and regulatory requirements, and assist with both new and existing products.

Responsibilities include creating SolidWorks drawings, supporting full product lifecycles, developing test procedures, and coordinating with inspection bodies.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering.
• SolidWorks, AutoCad and Mazatrol experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Project management skills and numeracy.
• IT literacy and good organizational skills.
• Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Produce SolidWorks design and drawings for catalog and custom parts.
• Be part of the full product life cycle from concept to production.
• Produce 2D and 3D drawings.
• Develop Engineering Test Procedures & Protocol.
• Evaluate designs and perform engineering testing.
• Coordinate with Third-Party Inspection & Certification Bodies.
• Manage metrology, calibration & testing instrumentation.
• Support production in manufacturing, assembly and fabrication of FA and final products.
• Present engineering product and design to clients.

Role

We have an opportunity within the Engineering Department for a Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver manufacturing designs for both current and future projects. A Mechanical Design Engineer at Pascal Industries ensures that all products meet stringent internal / client specifications, quality standards and industry regulatory requirements. Candidates with no experience (but with Mechanical Engineering knowledge) are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Produce SolidWorks design and drawings for catalog parts as well as custom parts

• Be part of the full product life cycle from initial concept to full production

• Produce 2D and 3D drawings

• Develop Engineering Test Procedures & Protocol

• Evaluation of design solutions and carry out full engineering testing

• Work with Third-Party Inspection (TPI) & Certification Bodies

• Manage metrology, calibration & testing instrumentation

• Support production in the manufacturing, assembly and fabrication of FA and final products

• Carry out Engineering Product and Design presentations to clients

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Candidate must possess at minimum a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.

• Required Skill(s): SolidWorks, AutoCad, Mazatrol (preferred)

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.

• Project management skills.

• Numerate & literate.

• IT literate and have good organization skills.

• Competent in Excel.
