Position Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and driven Mechanical Design Engineer to join our specialist team.

Position Summary:

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for assisting the Senior Manager in designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and products. This role involves concept development, CAD modeling, prototyping, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and manufacturable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software (ie. Inventor, Sketchup).

• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.

• Perform design calculations, FEA, and tolerance analysis to ensure product reliability and performance.

• Collaborate with CNC machinists, site installers, electrical, manufacturing, and teams to integrate and optimize designs.

• Support prototyping, testing, and validation of designs.

• Provide technical documentation and support for production and assembly.

• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred (optional) or a related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design or product development.

• Proficiency in Inventor CAD software.

• Good understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal fabrication, etc.).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
