About the role

Betzler (Asia) Consortium Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in the North-East Region. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems and components to support the company's engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to conceptualise and design mechanical systems, components, and products for tools, Jigs & Fixtures for multi-axis CNC, QC, Assemblies & Test
• Producing detailed engineering drawings, models, and prototypes using CAD software
• Conducting Fluid Flow and Solidification analyses to ensure the reliability and performance of mechanical designs
• Participating in the testing and validation of mechanical designs to meet quality and safety standards
• Providing technical support and guidance to manufacturing and production teams
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering

What we're looking for

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the precision engineering industry
• Proficient in using CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, to create detailed engineering drawings and models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimise mechanical designs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry regulations and standards
• Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing mechanical systems is a plus
