Qualifications

Job description

Design Engineer is responsible for conceptual / detailed design and will have the opportunity to participate in prototyping, installation, and testing of their design. This role requires good technical writing skills to produce documentation for submission. The Mechanical Design Engineer will work with a multi-disciplinary team and be exposed to interactions with customers, partners, vendors, and sub-contractors. Experience in structural calculations, manufacturing processes, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) is preferred.

Designers will use SolidWorks for the creation of 2D and 3D designs. Designs cover a wide breadth of topics such as Cam-drive system, Inter-locking mechanisms, combine Servo drive and Pneumatic system, Jig and Fixture, Machine panel, Robotic and Conveyor System etc. This role presents a great learning opportunity for mechanical designers to be exposed to a wide variety of different mechanical design topics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering
• Proficiency with Solid Works is desirable
• Familiarity with 2D AutoCAD
• Experience in manufacturing processes is an advantage
• Experience in GD&T processes is an advantage
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
