Overview
The MEP Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering activities which includes project feasibility study, procurement, construction and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for project planning, cost management and quality & progress monitoring of M&E works.
- Installation and coordination of all M&E systems including lighting, power, water services, ventilation, air conditioning and fire safety.
- Review and interpret M&E drawings and specifications; propose optimizations for site-specific performance and durability.
- Control the progress of RFI, RFA, Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Status for on-time project completion.
- Coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on all technical matters, including submission of method statement, drawings, materials, samples and work progress.
- Ensure mechanical and electrical engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the Company’s established policies and objectives.
- Conduct regular site inspections, testing & commissioning, and implement QA/QC procedures.
- Assist in supervising and coordinating MEP services, working closely with other departments.
- Responsible for conducting technical coordination meetings and recording resolutions of technical issues.
- Responsible for conducting QA/QC inspections, managing RE, RTO, and clearing QA/QC inspections to meet construction schedule.
- Ensure quality of MEP workmanship and compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience related projects in Singapore building and construction industry.
- Experience in high-end hospitality and residential projects.
- Possess strong knowledge and hands-on experiences on Electrical & Mechanical.
- Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
