Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or qualification in automotive mechanics.
• Proven workshop experience as a mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical, suspension and brakes.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
• Able to read manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in diverse positions.
• Reliable, punctual, professional.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Certifications in advanced diagnostics or specialized systems are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, filters, fluids, tires.
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical parts.
• Inspect vehicles and identify issues early.
• Keep accurate service records.
• Communicate repair estimates and progress to customers.
• Follow safety standards and manufacturer specs.
• Maintain clean, organized workshop.
• Keep tools and equipment well-maintained.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow.
