Qualifications

• Driver's license preferred.

About the role

Etalia Autoworkz Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team in Kampong Ubi, Central Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services to our clients. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the reputation of our workshop. This hands-on role is essential to our operations and directly impacts the quality of service we provide to our valued customers.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-ups, and tyre rotations
• Repair and replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical parts
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work completed
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair estimates, work progress, and recommendations
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
• Keep tools and equipment well-maintained and organised
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery

What we're looking for

• Relevant technical qualification or diploma in automotive mechanics or a related field
• Proven experience working as a Mechanic in a professional workshop environment
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, and brake systems
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and vehicle schematics
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Physical fitness and ability to work in various positions for extended periods
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to work
• Valid driving licence is preferred
• Certification in relevant areas such as advanced diagnostics or specialised vehicle systems is advantageous
